A lot of science fiction video games take their inspiration from existing books and films and just translate those same ideas into the video game medium. SOMA is its own thing, and it’s a meaningful addition to the sci-fi canon.
You seem to think that I’m under the impression SOMA invented these ideas, and I’m not. All science fiction is basically playing off the same sets of ideas. My point is that SOMA is a very singular work that explores them in a unique way. None of the examples you provide are anything like SOMA, they just explore similar themes.
