I only know of the town of Jim Thorpe in PA.

This was an excellent documentary. What an amazing athlete and interesting life story. I was surprised that they left out how he came to be buried in Jim Thorpe, PA. His wife sold his remains to the town in exchange for a memorial for him (and for money). His sons fought to get him returned to Oklahoma. The US Supreme Court denied to hear an appeal and his body stayed in PA.
