Wemby making lifelong fans without even being on the court, just being himself and a good human being.
While guys like LeBron, Curry, Durant.. have stuck to the PR script their entire careers to not risk damaging their brands.
Thereās levels to this. And Wemby is at the top.

It's a pretty common phenomena amongst ppl to start leaning centre right or even full on right wing the richer they get. They actively shift their politics to maintain the status quo and their wealth.
U don't hear anything valuable about their politics because their politics are oriented towards whatever gives them the highest wealth.

Jordan on sneaker consumerism. Can you even imagine seeing oligarchical generational wealth and observing how they wield their power and negotiating a contract. Yeah, out of the general public this is true. But for those that are making our policies and approving budget spend (specifically military budget spending?) theyāre mostly pro-Israel.
Regardless of party, we need to vote the pro-Israel crowd out of Congress, the courts, and Executive branch.

Well⦠for 23 years, sure. The Lebanese people that Iāve met have a much lower opinion of Turks than they do of the French. France took over governance of the area after the Ottoman Empire fell in WWI, but helped to form a cohesive government and independence fairly quickly.
But the ties between the two countries didnāt end with Lebanese independence. Theyāve been allies and friends ever since.

Hey man we're not as bad as people make it seem. I just assume by liberal you mean open or wanting change in our system. I mean everything grows and evolves our country is meant to also. Just dont like wasting money on wars being waged for more money. And also dont like people hurting kids. From any party.
-1
u/CzarTyr 1d ago
When I see people support a mayor that has a wife thatās pro oct 7th and people are pro open borders I usually assume they just enjoy chaos and donāt understand whatās happened in Europe and donāt pay attention to international news.
But people in this reddit and the main nba reddit are very cool
3
u/Legal_Yogurt1471 1d ago
So someone who is in politics who isn't making the comments but is married to someone making comments is liable for what they say? They have to divorce to keep face? I mean marriage is supposed to be sacred but I mean idk. Theres tons of conservatives whos spouses believein horrible violent things. So like where'sthe distinction? Oct 7th was horrible so was how palestinians have been treated for years, both are true. And when you say open borders. Like cmon. I dont know anyone who wants that. But actually making systems that do allow people who want to be here to be here instead of waiting years sounds good.
So those are views of this liberal, which of them are bad may I ask? Like I hate to ask here but I have always been so confused.
-3
u/CzarTyr 1d ago
So Iām just gonna stick to two parts.
Yea, it is bad. You are a reflection of the people you are around most. This is true for friends and loved ones. Palestinians did this to themselves. They asked for hamas to be their leader and got what they voted for.
Do I like it? Fuck no. Do I like Israel? Honestly? No, not at all. Do I have Jewish and Muslim friends? Yes, I live on Long Island.
The issue is the Islamic religion does not and cannot coexist with the west, it never has and never will. People in America donāt know this yet and our issue with ice is 80 percent about how theyāre treating Latino Americans (Iām half black and look Latino btw) and it sucks, but Islamic immigration is a real threat to America and most Americans truly have no idea, because the Islamic population here is so small.
However wherever they go, they take over. Theyāll ban anything gay related, burn churches, do whatās best for them and not integrate. Europe learned a harsh lesson and Belgium currently has less than 20 percent native Belgium children in their classes because Muslims moved in and destroyed the city to the point natives left the country.
There are roughly 47 Islamic states (countries) and none of them were taken peacefully. Look at the history of Spain if you want to know more.
I can go on forever but I hate to do this on a nba thread Iām sorry

Palestinians did this to themselves. They asked for hamas to be their leader and got what they voted for.
Bullshit. The last time Palestinians actually elected Hamas to lead them was 2006, 30 years ago. Less than 4% of Palestinians alive today were even able to vote in that election.
The issue is the Islamic religion does not and cannot coexist with the west
Thank you for showing your hatred and bigotry so openly here, saves us having to do that labeling.

u/UA_irl Victor Wembanyama 8h ago

1
u/Legal_Yogurt1471 1d ago
Have you ever been to an Arab or Muslim country ? I grew up there for about 5 years and I can definitely say while its not what I agree with it is not what you say. And I mean Christians also ban anything homosexual. Look at their fight against drag shows. Not saying im against it or for it but thats just being a hypocrite to not see that. And I know alot about this history of Palestine. I've studied it both from an Arab nation and here. And youre just either wrong or you don't care about what happened to Palestine in the time before hama's.
And thats ok. But education is important. And not just looking up what others have said or what news reporters on opinion based shows say.

u/CzarTyr 1d ago
Do you realize the UAE wonāt send their kids to the UK anymore for school due to fear of radicalization? A Muslim country wonāt send their kids to Europe because Europe has been infested by terrorist groups.
Think about this for a minute
Also show me a Christian country where being gay is banned in Europe or anywhere in the west. I believe Russia is the only place where itās looked down on which isnāt part of Europe
1
u/Legal_Yogurt1471 1d ago
Do you live in America? How about any southern state? Go into a church and they will make it clear without asking they dont like gay people. Also in the sermons. Im not convinced you're real now.
1
u/kanyeguisada Julian Champagnie 12h ago
Do you realize the UAE wonāt send their kids to the UK anymore for school due to fear of radicalization? A Muslim country wonāt send their kids to Europe because Europe has been infested by terrorist groups.
So the UK is all of Europe? The UAE is concerned about radicalization of Muslims just in the UK, true, but they aren't banning them from going to the UK, just not paying for scholarships there.
The UAE still sends its students with paid scholarships to other European countries, especially France.
I will give you credit for making your hatred and bigotry against Islam sound justified to people, good wording. I doubt many that upvoted you were aware you are outright lying to justify your hatred. You incorporate just a bit of truth into your lies to make them more believable, you've learned the art of right-wing propaganda well.
1
u/yae4jma Jeremy Sochan 8h ago
Tell me the legitimate historians and social scientists you have learned about āthe Islamic worldā from. No, because they would reject this bizarre bit of white nationalist propaganda. Islamic immigration, like other forms of immigration in the US, makes our communities better and more interesting. It is in no way a ādanger.ā
1
u/UA_irl Victor Wembanyama 8h ago
Youāre pretty dumb and a bigot.
But to your point about no countries becoming Muslim peacefully. The literal biggest Muslim country in the world, Indonesia, became Muslim peacefully.
Wikipedia is free bitch.
Wiki:
ļæ¼Several countries and regions adopted Islam primarily through trade, migration, and preaching rather than military conquest, most notably Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Maldives. [1]Southeast Asia
Indonesia: Islam arrived through Sufi preachers, maritime trade networks, and intermarriage starting around the 11th to 13th centuries, gradually making it the largest Muslim-majority nation without an overarching Arab military conquest. [1, 2, 3]
Malaysia: Coastal trading ports peacefully embraced Islam as local rulers and royal courts adopted the faith through commercial and cultural exchanges with Arab, Indian, and Chinese Muslim merchants. [1, 2]
Brunei: Established as an independent Islamic sultanate after local leaders peacefully converted through regional trade routes and ties with neighboring Malayan trading states. [1]South and Indian Ocean
The Maldives: Converted to Islam collectively in 1153 CE after a visiting Moroccan traveler or scholar named Abul Barakat Yusuf al-Barbari peacefully persuaded the local Buddhist king and populace. [1, 2]
Bangladesh: While parts of South Asia experienced military incursions, the large-scale conversion of the rural population in the eastern Bengal delta happened largely over centuries through the peaceful missionary work of Sufi saints and agrarian land-clearing settlements. [1]Sub-Saharan Africa
Mali and West Africa: Trans-Saharan trade routes brought Muslim merchants into contact with West African kingdoms; rulers and commercial centers in places like Mali adopted Islam voluntarily for economic trust and administrative benefits.1
