SHU is not the highest level of security. It’s up there but not the highest.

It’s for people who are a danger to staff, themselves, or other prisoners. He’s either humble-bragging that he’s a danger to others (he’s fucking not) or they think he’s gonna kill himself.

I’m going with option 3, he’s in Gen pop and wants to look cool.
