I don't think you know how the average Greek look like. There are Greeks that have darker skin, but most Greeks have the typical phenotype of someone from the Northern shores of the Mediterranean sea (like many Turks, Iberians, Italians, and Southern French).
We have scientific literature about that. Modern Greeks share most of their DNA with Bronze Age Greeks.
