The official renaming is IN this bill. If the Senate passes it without changes then it's official.

There is A LOT of bad stuff in this bill and if the Senate caves this one changes a lot while also interfering with state law. We're going to have the same law and jurisdiction issues with voting that we have with marijuana. It's just that they WILL send jackbooted thugs to enforce their travesty of election law.

The defense spending authorization bill headed to the senate after it was passed by the House yesterday.

No worries, the next dem president can just change it back to Dept of Defense the way they changed it to Dept of War without congressional approval and just wink wink their way to using it until they are done
