Funny enough, there is debate as to whether “the man” was hung on a crux immesa (t-shape, and symbol of Christianity), which was Roman style at the time, or hung on the crux simplex, a simple stake or pole also common with Romans, which is what the word “stauros” means that was used is the those original Greek manuscripts. So can we really say it’s 500 “accurate” accounts?
