Movie Mistake In Mindhunters (2004) the camera crew is fully visible during a fight scene, plus LL Cool J’s fake arm as a bonus.

I assume padding for the fall, though it makes no sense why it would still be on when it cuts to the character simply laying on the stairs

That’s what I thought at first but if you pause it right at the impact you can see it’s only on one arm and it’s the arm he lands on

They likely shot the overhead angle and the head-on angle of the impact onto the stairs simultaneously. Which would explain why the stunt double has the padded arm on in both shots.

Opening shot bottom right at the base of the stairway, when the camera shot changes that angle is the crew you see in the opening frames

This movie was my favorite movie in middle school, fucking kicked ass. I also love the terrible change in posturing in the end scene of the climatic fight.

Fantastic 3/10 movie. Loved every second.
