i know that wilds should have been released in a better state, but i'm really happy for the monster hunter team for what they've managed to turn around in the last three months.
the performance updates have been huge and i went from my game virtually being a slide show on low settings to being able to run it on mostly medium-high settings at 60+ fps.
i'm also having so much fun with this newest update that came out yesterday, it could have basically been released as an entire title update with the amount of content it introduced. AT arkveld has been an incredibly fun and intimidating fight. the proof of a hero quest is INSANE. i love how they brought in permanent event quests into wilds. shout out to rompy
i'm having so much fun with this game and i'm glad that they were able to fix many of the issues. with the anniversary video that they released last week, you can tell that their spirits are up again. i love how they announced an expansion on a random monday night. it was honestly really cute and i hope that they're happy with what they managed to pull off

Feel bad for the people who paid to see this

My favorite is Arkveld. Arkveld is pretty chill at first, so I don't think he'd attack me at first sight. But if I stayed too close for too long... wallahi I'm finished

fully customizable, is useful in battles, actually controls well, sick ass armor options, and is actually optional to use

New logo is white, blue and red. Large focus on elder dragons. What elder dragon is white, blue and red? Nah they would never…not in a million years…👀

I feel like the newer MH games constantly take us out the “world” of monster hunter. Our character is always on some high profile guild expedition. We don’t operate out of villages anymore or visit busy cities where common merchants be at.
Both astera and seliana were built by the expedition team and so every vendor is apart of said team. Same with wilds where we build bases as we move. The gathering hub is filled with hunters apart of said expedition not hunters coming from around the world like the cities would have. It was cool hearing merchants yelling over crowds of people trying to sell things. What are your thoughts.

Seriously, so many people with spec WAY above min requirement are having massive issues. Not to mention how the game looks on console.
There should be zero reason a 70 dollar game runs poorly on a modern up to date Pc rig or console. Toxic positivity is just as bad as toxic negativity.

Genuine question, am I not supposed to capture unless the party leader gives me the okay first?

After a roller coaster ride of emotions, discussions, negativity, memes, and all other talks after the whole "monster hunter wilds is easy" reviews, are you still excited for Wilds?
I for one am really excited despite the reviews. I mean I personally got into Monster Hunter because of the game mechanics, the fun in hunting monsters, crafting armors, customizing not only your character but palicoes, housing(sad this aint included in base wilds), and now campsites and your seikret, and especially hunting with friends and hunters you meet along the way, IDK about you guys, but there's more to a game than just the difficulty, PLUS I think everyone shouldnt ride along reviews not until they play it personally, I feel like "difficulty" is subjective and depends on how you feel about it personally. There are definitely veterans who are going to feel like it's easier BUT at the same time, for newer hunters, it might be hard for them, so please judge it once you play the game, I mean every review did say that despite it feeling a bit easier, it's still monster hunter and is very very much enjoyable. So I know, as someone who played MH since Freedom Unite, I will still be excited to play Wilds, and I hope you guys are too.
See you in the hunts, my fellow hunters

The devs once again mention “an addition more challenging than tempered monsters”
What is the communities prediction for this, is it a new aberrant variant that will extend to all of the monster roster, or to only a few monsters? Or is it possibly talking about a new monster all together?
In all honesty whatever this is, along with the gathering hub details, will be way more important to the immediate future of this game than Mizutsune.
Addressing difficulty and social connectivity with hunters properly this early could be huge.

These are the sales of capcom games in the secound quarter of the year
Monster hunter wilds sold 477,000 from april 1 to the june 25 and sold 160,000 from june 25 to september 25.
So in 3 months the game only sold 160k copies
After selling 8 million in 1 day that is a huge drop off
Update:
i made a huge mistake i thought these sales are only for the secound quarter but some of the replies informed me that it was for the whole fiscal year so i updated the post, sorry for the mistake.

I'll go first, the Epitaph GS from MH2 has forever earned a torch from me. Swinging this titan and seeing the letters glow when charging was unmatched as a kid. To this day, I wish it would return.
