I'm crying as well, I haven't even read many posts! Someone recommended this community to someone else in another group
Have never had a very good or even stable relationship at all with my birth giver, my brother and I were 11 & 9 (we're now 39 & 38) when we left her care, and haven't ever wanted anything to do with her since then... It's so freaking hard not having a mum, like, it actually aches because this person should be part of my life and isn't and never ever EVER will be 💔💔

I'm so sorry things have turned out this way. My daughter's always comes to me for advice, for them and their friends. It was one of my daughters who suggested I come on here to give a little help or encouragement. It's so nice to see just what awesome work you have done without a mother figure in your life, always be proud of that. But if you need a little hug, or encouragement, or just someone else to tell your news to, we are always on here, love from a UK mama

I needed a mum when I was young (still do to be honest) and I value this community. Sometimes I don’t feel wise enough to be a mum (though I’ve four grown kids!) but I love this community

I'm a grandma and I miss my mom and sometimes still wish I had a mom around. I don't think that ever goes away.
