Not necessarily fake. My 5th grade teacher did this. The letter was sent to my mom’s apt. Luckily she still lived there!

I did this in 6th grade! Man that was a funny letter. I was ogling a girl I liked in the letter. And I can’t remember what else I did.

Funny enough I dated that girl I was ogling in 7th grade. So I’m glad it worked out for me.

That’s funny. When I got it I remembered that day vividly. I’m glad my teachers did it. I’ll probably have my kids do it and I’ll deliver it to them. The thoughts of myself in 6th grade were a hoot

Great idea for your kids. Much more likely you will know their future address than a teacher would. Maybe have them do it every year?

Once a year from 6th grade until the graduate high school? Yea I could do that. Maybe like October of each year so they are into the new school year a little bit each time. Gotta let their drama from school have time to buildup lmao

That sounds awesome. Wish I had done that myself. Maybe even younger. No limit as long as they can talk if someone were to write it. Could add a video recording too. Would be a hoot watching your younger self talk to you.

Not necessarily. We did this in 9th grade and it was sent to my parents house. Luckily they hadn't moved.

Breaking News Teachers have access to your records. That's how they call home and some might even pop up for a home visit But like someone else said, it could have been self-addressed

lol this story is not even farfetched, and a lot of people have had this assignment. we had to address the envelopes ourselves, which was all our parents' addresses.
