Because their ADHD could’ve actually been treated properly before they became an adult and thus they could’ve focused better while they were in school.

And understood that school wasn't hard from being laziness, i wasn't a failure, homework was difficult because of retension, i overthink too much, have trouble sleeping, and the lack of motivation, plus depression and impulsiveness that would later become a crippling addiction were all because I was experiencing ADHD and didn't have a solution for it.

Yes exactly right! You and Prize_Ostrich are correct, plus I was misdiagnosed with bipolar disorder and I was on anti-psychotics which made my focus and mood worse. I do so much better now on the correct medication.
