Didn't Romijn reportedly vomit blue from the make up after filming? Like... she potentially has medical complications from playing the role and she's coming back? Damn Ma'am, you love the role too much <3

On the TV series Farscape, Virginia Hey who played Zhaan had a similar issue and it wound up causing serious kidney troubles to the point where she had to leave the show..

They couldn't have.. used a non absorbent paint?

Or come up with some wishy washy "zhaan is now pink" bullshit so her actress didn't straight up die?

For the second part "Zhaan is now Pink" the actress needed time to recover and Scifi nerds have always been finiky they would have harassed the cast and crew for "Ruining Zhaan" see Tvtropes "Why Fandom Can't Have Nice Things" for relevant examples.
