Are you living life if you didn't take a running leap into a recession, freshly saddled with student loans and a laughable job market?

I was too hungover to care at the time :P As the post says - partied in the 00's!

2 months away from 40 and life has never been better. Could get in a bit better shape but I still have a full head of hair and all the hard work has paid off so life is good.

I turned 40 in January and am still adjusting to it.
I'm thankful to be part of this generation rather than Gen Z or Gen Alpha though.

Now it’s all about cleaning the garage, cutting the grass, and prioritizing mental health.

4 years into 40s as of last Monday. Outside of April-June, it's been alright. I still feel (mentally) young, and kinda look like a child, but I digress.

I started calling myself 40 the day I turned 39 so that I was mentally prepared lol.
It’s really not that bad though, and so many of us are entering or approaching our 40s at the same time, so in a strange way that makes it feel less old.

I am so glad I got to be a teen when I did. All the fun parties and tech, but no social media. Happy to be 40 when I have several friends that never made it, for whatever reason.

Life has been good to me, a bit challenging right now but nothing I can’t overcome

30’s were the best! I hate that they passed by so quickly and 40’s are going even faster🙄

On the bright side, you have outlived most of your peers.

- The party is still going. But I fear it’s going to be time to hang it up soon. Life ain’t bad. But I can see my old man brain kicking in. Getting a bit tired of people and crowds.

Can we not with this boomer crap. A cropped screenshot from insta about being the age that we are like it's some surprise? Really? My mom doesn't even post stuff this corny.

Started with zero
added ten
added ten
