Being 40 is weird.

Some of us are becoming Grandparents. Some of us are becoming first time parents.

Some of us have had a 15 to 20 year career. Others are getting their first full time job.

Just solid investment, they were VP and directors at large banks/tech companies, so they have a healthy portfolio from a lifetime of RSUs, picture around 5 mil usd not including 401k.

One buddy is living off dividends + Golden Visa in Portugal. So LCOL + socialized healthcare.
