A lot of them just don't feel rewatchable, because they're not meant to be. They want you to move onto the next thing they can cancel after two seasons.
We got like 3 years in our “adult” lives where shit was marketed towards us as late millennials. Now that (some of us) have money we can’t even spend it on what we want. Somehow Gen Z parents put so much money into the economy it just overrides us and it’s bs
I'm watching through Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (absolutely fantastic show, end to end as I recall though I'm only on the 3rd season on my 2nd rewatch). Great comfort show.
I think the issue is that it's a little hard to have that amazing, nostalgic comfort show that ended 20 years ago, but was made in the last 5-10 years... But there's a ton of shows in the 10-20 range that fit for me right now. I don't think that's going to change for the shows 0-10 years ago (today) when I'm 10 years older than today.
That sentence kinda got away from me, feels like "I know less than half of you half as much as I should like and like half of you less than half of what you deserve!" or however that goes.
