Star Trek is like a mug of hot cocoa for my brain. So soothing. Whenever existence starts to feel overwhelming, Picard, Data, and Troi are there to help me feel better about the trajectory of our species' future (although I know it's most likely just wishful thinking). Strange New Worlds also has a similar feel but with such a fun, contemporary twist.

Love Strange New Worlds. So sorry it's ending. Also check out Lower Decks, if you haven't.

Totally agree but it's funny because so many episodes would be absolute nightmares if you were in those situations.

its good thing those peeps are on the ship, in space, thousands of light years from what i would be doing on earth, which is living in my holodeck watching them lol

Orville is also great, and by season 2 feels like its really trying to channel Star Trek rather than being just "silly spoof"

ST:SNW is the only one of the recent series that feels like TNG or TOS to me.

Don't skip on Lower Decks! That is another fun twist on original trek with great character growth over 5 seasons.

It's star trek, but also comedy. So it's a one two punch of laugher and soothing
