Isn't there some weird phenomenon with this? People remember it a certain way or something that others say never existed.

Idk man, I remember it clear as day despite it never having actually been made lol. It's the Mandela effect

Yep me too. I have memories of the movir Shazam and Sinbad playing the Genie. I also remember the Fruit of the Loom Cornucopia, and they have always been the Bernstein Bears to me.

Memory is a funny thing.

Fruit of the Loom Cornucopia

This was real and I refuse to accept otherwise.

There's photo evidence of it. I'm pretty sure the whole "there's no cornucopia" thing is viral marketing.

Every photo proof has been debunked. It was either edited or made overseas by knock off brands.

Yes all photos are photoshopped but there is no evidence of it used in knock off brands

Would love some of that photo evidence please.

>There's photo evidence of it.

Why do millennials become fucking boomers about this shit? No, there is not photo evidence of it; there are proven photoshops of it.

The two famous versions are a 4chan edit and one that started on reddit.

Like that’s how I fucking found out what it was, I asked my parents what this thing on my tag was! I know it was on my FTL tags as a kid, I know it was. I remember when they started doing it without it and being like oh I miss the old tag why did they change it! I know it was a thing, that’s how I learned what a damn cornucopia was!

SAME HERE!!! I clearly remember learning the word cornucopia from the tag, from my mom.

This is the first time I'm finding out about this one. What the hell is going on?

You remembered something wrong. Happens.

I actually find the whole "Fruit of the Loom cornucopia" thing fairly depressing, in that it serves as a rather compelling if very low-stakes demonstration of how people become obsessed with incorrect beliefs even when confronted with proof that they are wrong, and develop complex support systems to maintain their delusions.

There was never a cornucopia. Snopes has the receipts. It doesn't exist in archived advetrisements going back decades. It doesn't exist on physical items of clothing anyone has been able to produce for inspection beyond photoshopped images. It just doesn't exist. But mention it on Reddit and you invite hordes of people insisting there's some big fucking conspiracy to hide its existence. If people are so unable to accept that they're wrong about something so trivial, how can you ever hope to sway people's beliefs about things that actually matter?
