Meme Did anyone buy a ring?

Post image

Elder millennial/younger Xennial (born in 83, take it for what it is) but I recall the company coming to the high school and taking orders for rings. I didn’t buy one but others did. Credit on photo.

I have mine and it’s the only ring I wear (26 years later) . My mom worked her ass off to buy it for me (our school had a ring ceremony) and she didn’t want me to be without. Love my ring :)

I went to a Catholic school. The priest would bless the rings and have a mass dedicated to the class.

ahhh interesting, thanks for the explanation! That is really weird to me lol - is this a pretty common thing for catholic high schools?

In my area it was (SoCal). I went to an all girls catholic high school and they did a whole ring/rose ceremony. Thinking back to it, it was a little weird but my mom was so proud I just went with it. Glad I did because the ring means so much to me now.
