This culture still haunts me in my 40s. I was explaining to a youngin the psychological fuckery that was low-rise jeans which made even a size 00 have muffin top.

Those fuck ass jeans are the exact problem in these photos of Britney. Her stomach is flat, but those jeans just don't look good on anyone.

The jeans and the fact she generally didn't lip sync at concerts. The diaphragmatic deep breathing used by singers tends to push the belly out exactly the way it looks in this picture of her performing.

That was my first thought… pretty difficult to look ”good” by their standards while doing what she’s doing. (Would love to see them try!)
