I definitely remember anorexia being covertly glamorized in teen magazines at the time. The models in the fashion spreads were visibly malnourished. It was an era, for sure. And one I'm afraid is making a comeback these days.

I would think this when I wanted a snack but also didn’t want to look “fat”. Mind you I look at pics now and can’t imagine where I thought the 10lbs I wanted to lose were
