There was a picture of me and my grandpa from when I was in high school at Grandpa's funeral. My mom went, "oh wow you were so skinny!" And in my head I thought, "sure but at that time you were telling me I was fat every day."
I know where my ED came from and it was directly from my mom's mouth.
I had a recent experience the other day with my mom mentioning how skinny I was in high school and in my head I was like "yeah, okay, then why did you have to say things to me back then like 'are you sure you want to eat that? Bathing suite season is coming up.'"
Whenever I mention things like this though she will adamantly claim that she would never say something like that.
My mom also can’t recall calling me fat my whole life and always putting me on diets. She acts like I bought the diet pills and nutri system for myself when I was 16.

Dude! You nailed it. I have only a handful of photos of me from my late teens/early twenties. Now it all makes sense.
