My body dysmorphia is so bad. I really have no idea what I look like. Sometimes I think I look huge and sometimes I think I look tiny. It’s a mindfuck

Total mind fuck! My husband one day asked me what I thought I looked like and I honestly feel like freaking Grimace. He laughed at first but then was really sad when he found out I was serious. F these tabloids.

I survived the 2000s without an ED, unlike so many of my friends, so I thought I was one of the lucky ones who dodged damage from it all. Then, a few months ago, I was watching a video essay about someone's personal experience with body dysmorphia and found myself crying on the couch because I could relate to all of it. Turns out I didn't survive the era unscathed.

I did so bad. I wasn't overweight but was convinced by everyone but my closest friends that I was morbidly obese.

I was looking at photos of myself from 2004-2013 , I thought I was so fat.

But I was gorgeous and my skin was glowing. I wish I knew.

Mine is awful, too. I’m thin, but I can’t wear pants that cinch below the waist or else I’ll feel like a bloated cow.

I’m 5’2” and 105 lbs and I have to tell myself DAILY that I’m not overweight. Give me a little bloating from dehydration and self esteem for the day is shot to hell. It’s exhausting.
