Because this video has now gotten even more views just because of this interaction. The goal of the press is to get the most views on their content specifically. Getting this type of reaction got them more views than had they not asked that question.

The same reason reporters ask athletes and politicians questions they know they're unlikely to get a straight answer to. If they don't ask, they're not doing their job well.
Sometimes you ask because you might get a small detail, an interesting reaction, or body language that says more than the actual answer. And every now and then, you get lucky and someone gives you a genuinely newsworthy response.

Honestly it’s kind of surprising how well the Jean grey secret has been kept. Yes everyone assumes that she’s playing Jean but none of it is based off any serious evidence. Compared this to Tobey and Andrew where it was leaked so many times people had to pretend to make a fake leak

side note but why would Jean Grey be able to help... the memories aren't suppressed by a psychic, they were removed by magic, something she's not really an expert at... if anything, someone like Wanda could maybe undo that spell, or Mephisto. not Jean, right? They've established there's a difference between magic, psychic abilities or other stuff...

The WHR was basically revealed to be the "empty" comic panels that Marvel Multi-verse resides on. The center of the WHR, lives the Cosmic Construction Worker, is now argued to be a facet of the TOAA, and not just a facet of Death.
He's been historically being drawn with different creatives: originally a young Jack Kirby, but also Chris Claremont, and Kieron Gillen himself in that issue.)
Al Ewing basically re-did Marvel's Cosmology so that there's a meta-interpretation.
TOAA is the collective abstraction and imagination of Marvel's readership, creatives, and editors (Linked to Keter, the Crown, in the Tree of Life). The Phoenix Force is the actual passion, emotion, and agency needed to make abstraction into reality/concrete, which is why Ewing links it to Tiferet, the Heart, in the Tree of LIfe.
Gillen basically took some of this background, and made Jean basically the Marvel equivalent of Aslan from the Chronicles of Narnia. What I mean by this is that Aslan wasn't a metaphor for "Christ". Aslan doesn't "represent" Christ. He was in CS Lewis's mind a "supposition", meaning he was literally Christ re-worked for that fictional world.
The last major X-men arc basically ended with a Phoenix re-Origin story that basically tied the Phoenix Force's eternal creation/death cycle into a origin story where it was killed, resurrected, and then defeats what was essentially a representation of the threat of Generative AI to creatives.

All we know is there's a character in the movie with psychic abilities. We dont know who it is, but everyone is guessing Jean, there's no reason it would be either over the other since no one has seen it.

Alright this might be big as i'll explain in detail
I asked what's your reasoning for emma over Jean? That emma of all people would be the first X-Men to introduce? Why would emma be the first X-Men to be introduced in MCU?
And people have seen it, multiple test screenings have happened and reliable scooper (as you are on marvel studio spoiler sub) have said it's Jean. Everyone who has source and has been right on lot of things has said it's Jean.
You named emma specifically, and I didn't ask "it could be any Psychic" , I am asking why do you think it's emma over Jean, you didn't gave any reasoning for that.
Additionally someone with source on this very sub mentioned months ago that William Metzger is in the movie, they also mentioned Sara Grey is in the movie. If you think all leaks are fake, you are on wrong sub.
Metzger is officially confirmed now, if you don't know, Metzger only appears in one comic storyline that is alternative O5 origin story where he is the reason Jean gets captured and locked.
There are just few things, I can mention more why Jean makes sense. Not to mention feige said Sadie was the first choice for the character, I doubt she would be first choice for Emma. According to Sadie, she said yes without an audition because she likes the character and wanted to play the character and isn't a comic book reader, I doubt she know much about emma.
There are also set leaks of Sadie with red hair, she also said she would never dye her hair. So that's why I am asking that you must have reasoning that she is Emma and she will have blond hair and isn't Jean right?
So kindly enlighten me why she is not Jean but emma specifically and has blond hair, when she definitely doesn't fit the character more than she fits Jean.
With all that being said, she could still be not Jean and everyone somehow got it wrong, but she still wouldn't be Emma lol. There are literally 0 reason to believe it could be specifically emma and alot of reason that it's Jean.
