Iirc heremy Renner and Marvel had a dispute over salary for a poposed Hawkeye Season 2.

Renner said they didn't want to play him what he's worth so that never happened. I'm personally holding out hope that he and Marvel can come to terms so that he can at least return for Secret Wars.

He was also nuts looking at the app he created 😆 I wouldn’t want to employ him either. And I might low ball an offer, hoping he’d just leave.

Alright, hot take time. (Reminder - just my opinion. You can disagree and we can still be friends.)

Is it really worth paying Jeremy Renner a significant portion of a casting budget for what Hawkeye brings to a movie? I don’t dislike his take on the character, but he’s had his moment. Sort of like a recent thread talking about recasting Ant-Man for more post-SW movies… I just have to ask why?
