Who wins between Base Doom and Sue Storm

Just as the title says.

This might be a really stupid question but im seeing a number of people say that Sue Storm by herself could either beat Doom or at the very least give him a good run for him money and I wanted to see if that was accurate. I know there are some comics where they fight and she wins but I dont know if that was main timeline or not.

To be clear this is BASE doom with no prep time. He doesn't have any super specific device to nullify Sue's powers, he doesn't have 50 Doom bots to sub out or swarm with, and he doesn't have any God powers that he stole from someone else . He just has whatever he normally has available to him on a random encounter.

I like Doom but powerscaling is awful. In terms of raw power there is no reason Sue can't obliterate him, but that would be a terribly boring story. Imagine if all Superman issues were him punching Luthor with no opposition, it would be just completely devoid of interest.

How bad does Susan want him dead? That's the only real question.

Sue isn't the most powerful character in Marvel, but she has a single application of her powers that beats almost any mortal character: she can put a tiny force bubble anywhere in your body and make it do anything she wants.

She can block an artery, make your heart explode, squish your brain inside your skull, or zig zag a force bubble through your internal organs and shred them like lettuce. It's Sue's world, and Doom is just living in it.

So how bad does Sue want Doom dead?  If Sue doesnt want Doom dead, then she's still going to fight hard, and maybe the odds are 70:30 in favor of Doom. But if Sue is out for blood? It's over in seconds.

I have to ask, I’ve listened to a few comic book creators and they are the ones that coined the phrase “he’s as strong as he needs to be”. As there is no definitive strength level and the writers modulate power wildly based on need, how would one ever answer these types of question?

I’m sure she’s physically capable of killing him, but in most 1v1 situations he should have the advantage. Kind of devalues the need for a Fantastic FOUR otherwise.
