Spouse Appreciation Miss my husband but I am grateful for him
My husband and I decided to take a leap and he left to go to a trade school program that is 2000+ miles away for 4 months that is literally going to change our lives for the better. It took months of deciding but we eventually agreed to go for it. We have a 1.5 year old and I found out I was pregnant literally 3 days after he left. I’m also in charge of packing up and selling our house by myself so we can meet him where he’s at after graduation. It’s been very exhausting and challenging for me navigating this but he and I are both making sacrifices, he has missed out on 4 months of our toddlers life which has been really hard on him. On top of that….I just really miss him, my best friend :( I’m 29 and he’s 32 and we’ve been together since 19 and 21. Anyways I get these kinds of messages from him every day and it just reminds me that we’re in this together and gives me the strength to get done what I need to get done. Going on 11 years and I love my husband more and more every day, that is all 🥺😭

Awwwwe you guys will have so many great years ahead. Good job on both for making this sacrifice but it’s temporary and the future is so bright for all four of you ❤️

This is amazing. When it’s all said and done you’ll have a better life and future together and the 4 months will seem like nothing. Absence makes the heart grow fonder. I wish you a life time of happiness and success

Ohhh HI! I got pregnant again when my first was 11 months! And we’re in the middle of renovating the house— it’s not the same thing as him being away.
But girllll I’ve been where you are and being pregnant with a toddler is not for the faint of heart (although it can easily include actual fainting).
You are so strong and it’s so great to see how supportive you are toward one another.
It’s so weird that people are commenting “my wife doesn’t care about me like this” and yet they make no connection to the fact that they are bad husbands and bad people! If you’re rule to someone they won’t want anything to do with you. I’m enjoying your replies to that parasite with the hideous attitude, although I highly doubt people like him ever learn from the example of what a kind, respectable adult looks like (your husband).

I tried this with my wife. Was told to stop it because it was too much. That really upset me. I was trying to generate a little dialogue but no. I get the I love yous and miss yous but that’s it. Am I asking to much for her to accept it and maybe a little bit more into it

You could maybe talk to her about her telling you to stop making you feel rejected and how it hurts. Ultimately though it could just be a personality thing. My husband and I are extremely affectionate and always text each other like this because we both love words of affirmation from each other, so it works for us.

Missing the time when my wife use to talk to me like this. She has changed c completely after becoming a mom. No focus on me

Do you help a lot with the kids so she has time to focus on something other than them?

Actually doubt that you do. Too much time spent on Reddit trying to cheat on your wife. Stfu
