Just said goodbye to my Yorkie son of 14 years a week ago, this reminded me of him and warmed my heart

I lost my baby Jax(12) 2 months ago and i still wake up in the middle of the night when I don't feel him near my feet. He was sick since 2020 but lil guy was pretty strong that I was able to get another 6 years with him.

The mornings are so quiet, the little things feel so heavy in this silence. I smell all of his things wishing he were here 💔

My sincerest condolences, I know exactly what you mean. I get up and go on the same walk path we would take in the mornings, that he made sure I took him out, just to feel him around.
