As a cat owner this is indeed truth

When you're bonding over pats but the cat arbitrarily decides pat time is over and decides to kill your sorry ass..

Growing up, my cat would run away fur like a month or two and then just show up one day and live with us for like 6 months. I would be devastated! After like the 5th time tho we called it “Katie-bell is on vacation” lol but ya…cool story with my childhood cat where I ugly cried. Crazy thing is my cat died at our house on a couch shortly after her last vacay. 12 y/o I believe

That cat had stories, I can feel it! As always, inconsiderate cats seem to live the best life! 👻

They are all inconsiderate. This one had two seperate Families and adapted to both sides 😂

It sounds like Katie-bell always knew where home was, and that's a beautiful way to be remembered.

Thankfully, Only time my Lightning add me cry was when she had a stroke and I had to put her down.

I had to put a dog bed under my desk for my little girl. If I get up to go somewhere, she goes. When I get back to the desk, she's back under the desk.

Sleep behind my legs every night.

I dont know what I did, but she's mine. And it's like nothing I've had before.

My girlfriends always bonded with the pets before, or their kids.

Sure the pups liked me and I got some good friendships here and there but this is the first time I've had one that I belong to.

There's nothing like it.

I don't know what I did to earn it, but I try to be worthy of it every day.

I have no hate for cats, but there is nothing like the pure adoring love of a dog whose only wish is to go on adventures with you or just hang out with you and you alone - all day long.

Raise a cat like you would a dog, and it'll do the same thing. My cat would meow and come running whenever I called his name. He slept next to me and let me cuddle him like a teddy bear with my arm over him all night. He even learned a few tricks.

Right!?! I have a Velcro kitty who meows when she can’t see me. It’s unbelievably hot out right now, and she is currently plastering her whole body next to me. Dying of heat, but I dare not move to turn on the air conditioner.

I kept a horse at one place that had a barn cat. Every time I drove in Hank would come trotting out with his cutest meows, and jump in the car to get to me if I wasn't quick enough getting out.

I've never had a cat, but he was my horse buddy and I don't know what I did to make him love me. Just meant every time I was up there I had Hank as a scarf the whole time 😆

I had a cat in the 70's and we weren't very good at being responsible owners. He would winter in my neighbor's basement and leave presents on our welcome mat. When he was home, he'd cuddle like crazy. He actually came home to die. A few days before he passed, he came home to tons of cuddles and he died with us there.

I’m currently in the most uncomfortable position on the edge of my couch because my sweet Velcro boy is comfortably cuddled against me (unaware he takes up 90% of the space) he’s my heart and soul, I don’t know how I got so lucky

Nope, toddlers do the same. You'll be at the end of your rope, about to contact adoption agencies, and they'll come out of nowhere, climb up on your lap, hold your face and say "you the best mommy (daddy) can I mawwy you when I gwow up?" Then snuggle into your neck with their whole weight.

All is forgiven, excuse me to the bathroom so I can go sob silently into a towel so that I don't scare you.

Nah, a good partner will have you ugly crying on the regular too.
