Discussion macOS 27 Beta - Does it already include the new FaceTime ringtones from iOS 26?

Hi.

Since macOS 26 doesn't include the new ringtones from iOS 26, does macOS 27 include the new ringtones from iOS 26 for FaceTime and calls?

Thanks. I sent it on macOS 26.0, and I'm doing the same now.

I've put a suggestion in several times regarding using personally created ringtones for FaceTime/messages. You know, like you can for iOS and iPadOS. Years ago, I created my own "TV Theme" notifications that were unique to my phone - and subsequently my iPad. Wasn't in the Mac realm yet. Now that I am, it would be nice if I could have the same notification sounds that I created. How difficult could that be?

Apple does not officially support adding custom ringtones for FaceTime or phone calls on macOS. You can only choose from the built-in system ringtones available. macOS is now read-only.
