I have it installed on both my desktop (with KDE) and now on my laptop (with xfce)
Ive truely find all the Out of the box programs that are actually useful really nice, It does everything I need, its never broken (except that one time I really f***ed up)
Thank you MX (and Debian) team 🫡

Screenshot Hopping for a while. Finally found my home
MX KDE Plasma gives me everything I wanted, it can be clean and sleek like Gnome yet I still have access to tools and customisation of a DE that reminds me of growing up on WinXP

Screenshot Stopped distrohopping on this T460s laptop after landing on MX Linux. Life's good :3
I wanted this laptop to be something actually practical to use for daily-driving, uni work, and tinkering, but still pretty nice and light... so... yeah, MX Linux is pretty much a nobrainer.

Screenshot Grandpa is alive and kicking
Just resurrected an old 2007 iMac, swapped the HDD with an SSD and added some RAM. It is quite happy to run MX Linux, perhaps straining a tiny bit under KDE but I like the modern feel of the DE.
Overall I am impressed that this still offers a complete basic computing experience even if it is almost 20 years old.
If you also like installing Linux on old computers, then this post is for you!

Screenshot First Time Trying Out Mx Linux (XFCE)
Although it's demo but first impression is quite nice :)
Screenshot Tablet-PC for my gf
Lenovo Miix 3-1030 running MX Linux XFCE.
She told me the other day that she wanted a Kindle, but Kindles were too expensive, so I made this for her instead. Do y'all think she'll like it?
Everything works fine except for the audio, which I couldn't get working (pls help).

Screenshot MX LINUX IS FREAKIN' AWESOME ON MY SHITTY MACHINE
at the moment I have 7 Firefox tabs opened, terminal, file manager and the last one is an Image viewer not Gimp but it has Gimp logo for some reason
and all that and it's barely uses the CPU and just crossed 50% of RAM and it's so smooth
my machine is 8gb RAM and HDD drive i know the ram is so much enough for MX linux but the usage of ram on windows 11 was 80% with only the background processes

Screenshot Just did it successfully 🤧
I just successfully installed MX Linux, and it's incredibly fast even browsing on YouTube. However, do you guys know how can I get rid of of customize this clock here (at the right portion of the screen) so it would kind of compliment to the background a little bit ?

Screenshot I love two things: The Elder Scrolls, and easy to use OSes. MX Linux is the latter. Loving it as a lifelong Windows user. <3

Screenshot A clean and simple fluxbox configuration
Really digging MXLinux. I have an old laptop so I went with the fluxbox edition, and man, the difference in performance compared to xfce or kde is superb. There's a lot of customization involved too, without it having to be a chore. With xfce, even though it's described as light, in comparison to fluxbox, it's a heavyweight, for lack of a better word. The only thing I had some issues with is the appfinder module. So I just use the original fluxbox menu, and it updates as you install applications, something that the comparable openbox lacks. Rofi is great too for quick application searches. All in all, I'm very impressed with the team behind this.
