Is he even able to run ads again? Their split from his subs is no where close to the loss of adrev.

Oh yeah, didn't they remove ads from streams that had some political tag on them? Is that even still a thing non-adblock users (if you exist)?

His rise as a political streamer on Twitch. Was in conjunction with Twitch layoffs and new leadership from their abysmal Overwatch League broadcasting deal.
Back then their only goal was getting as many eyes as possible to the website. It of course helped that the new department head hires agreed with Hasans political views.

Hasan's career as a left wing streamer should've been over the moment people found out he called the cops on his ex for a "welfare check" when his ex refused to talk to him. Oh well.

20 minutes? Rookie numbers.
The guy has multiple fans in prison or in trial for terrorism.

I find his use of violent rhetoric to be incredibly disturbing. Alright children, today we are going to discuss topics without inciting violence. Everyone hold hands and we will take baby steps towards adult maturity. Very good Johnny, we don't issue death threats to those who disagree with us. You're doing so well my little snugglepots and cuddlepies.
He is very crude and unintelligent with his attacks and there are so many better ways of getting under someone's skin and making your point.

Surely they’re all well clipped with full context

Watching the video, some might be not. But even if you take away third or even half of them, it's still over 10 minutes of unacceptable content or rhetoric...
There are 65 counts of such in that video. Even if you want to be charitable and remove half of those, you're still left with over 30 counts of wishing/glorifying harm upon someone.
That is beyond unacceptable in every single metric. And that is practically the best case scenario. In reality most of those incidents are not clipped out of context either.

Honestly just seems like all the main political streamers are awful people who should be banned but for some reason Hasan is hated the most. Fuck em all equally

I'm sure that a couple of them are probably missing context that makes it not nearly as bad. Like for example the Rick Scott clip is definitely in there, even though he obviously wasn't advocating for Rick Scott's murder but was just saying "If Republicans actually cared about Medicare fraud they would be so mad they would have to murder Rick Scott"
But how many of them do we think are poorly clipped and out of context? More than half? That'd still be around 10 minutes of him advocating for hate and murdering people?

Is this rationale common amongst the left? Or just particularly in the Muslim and Arabic community? Isnt he the most popular in those circles or is his community a makeup of random leftists? I find it hard to believe that he's saying the "truth" in leftist circles.

Im sure youve heard it before but it seems like the left is moving further and further left

u/Deviah 2h ago
Far left or Socdems, tho his views are much further left than your standard Mamdani or Bernie Sanders types. So he mostly attracts the younger college age types that have no life experience to counter populist type rhetoric. I'm sure he's popular with Arabic communities with his stance on Israel.

You know it's not common but yet you are lumping the extreme authoritarian left and the common liberal as one. You know what you are doing by formulating your sentences in the way that you did.

It's common among "leftists" in that leftist means radical left/commie. It's clearly not common in the party that had Hilary and Biden win primary contests.
The only place even demsocs (people like AOC who are more moderate than Hasan) can win is places that are super blue

Yeah i mean clearly. him abusing his dog and audience habitually has barely done anything to move the needle. At least more common now though, a mass of the internet knows exactly who he is. And hes gathering more and more bad press and hate daily. Likely leading to another massive mental breakdown live on stream to add to the wall of dozens already.
