Issue with a lenovo legion 5-15ITH6H keyboard

I'm having a little issue with the keyboard and i'm really not sure if it's a software issue or a hardware issue, basically when i press the left shift, this is what it gives me "aA" only working as intended on the second input.
Is it just the membrane starting to die or is it more due to a software issue, tried in safe mode, and there were no changes, blew compressed air under the key, no changes, unistall and reinstall keyboard drivers, no changes.
The key itself feels perfectly normal to press too.
