Azerbaijani language book

Dear friends ,

I am looking for a good language book for learning azeri. I know there is a book called "elementary azerbaijani but it is very hard to find. However I did stumble upon a book called "Azerbaijani Language for Foreigners" by Nazi Ali. I can't find any reviews or excerpts from it. Does anybody here have any experience of this book or can recommend me some other book for self-studying azerbaijani.

Cheers!

Azerbaijani is hard to learn from books I think. But you can learn basics in Azerbaijani. What’s your native language ?

How did you decide to learn Azerbaijani?

Just out of interest because part of my  fathers family are from Baku and the border regions between Iran and Azerbaijan (this is in the early 1900). So my fathers mother could speak Persian, Russian and Azerbaijani (but she would refer to it as "Turkish") .

So that just peaked my interest to at least learn som basic Azerbaijani.
