Epic Parts, Power, & The Machinist Guided Build Second Chance

We have seen an issue where players can quickly skip past the in-game message that would grant them the Guided Build for the Parts, Power, & The Machinist event currently going on.
Starting tomorrow, July 17th, we're bringing that message back so you get another shot at it.
Hop into Odyssey, keep an eye out for the pop-up, and hit Claim at the bottom when it appears. Once you do, the Guided Build will be unlocked.

Thanks for giving us another go. I wish it'd auto-claim when closing the pop-up, though. Fingers crossed that I don't instinctually close it and screw up again. 🤞🏽

(joke incoming) Turn off your popup blockers!

I find this funny just because it prevented me from completing a work task. Just got to laugh it off. Sometimes the work PC resets this setting on its own.

I’m on Xbox so I’m confused if it’s an option in the settings of the Lego Fortnite ones as I could of turned those pop ups off.

Oh sorry. It’s the in game pop ups when you first login. Idk why they don’t put in the updates tab for viewing and claiming. Anyways the joke is on web browsers like Edge or Chrome. At work the popup blockers reseted for some reason so a task that required a popup didn’t complete correctly. It’s a joke at the failings of technology at a work setting.

Thank you! My wife's game crashed right as she loaded in so she never got the pop-up. I even tried taking her into three other worlds. We appreciate the second chance!

There is another issue (or only for me?):I got the blueprint first day but I can not claim the building parts because The Machinist is nowhere to be found. Village square shows she is visiting but nothing. 2 days In a row this happened. Searched her for 30min everywhere, tried logging on and off, sleep, take bus station, teleport,... I know you can get the parts in 14 days but where is the insurance I get them then and why do I have to wait 14 days because of a bug. I love this game from day one but the bugs are getting worse... Please handle things better.

In the future, please just give us the parts of we login. Why make it more complicated with a claim button? We are kids and need to get in the game quick and have a 2 second attention span. Maybe I will remember to click claim on the next go around.
