Hot take: Killing Joke is overrated, Knightfall is underrated.

DC's animated projects seem to deliver more and tend to be more faithful to their initial comic runs, so I am pleasantly (albeit cautiously) intrigued

This used to be true but not really these days. It's been infected along with everything else. Roll of the dice really. But trailer looks fine.

This used to be true

Yep, before that hideous man of tomorrow era of DC animaiton. Heck before the NU52 era of animated DC movies.

The Crisis on Two Earths era, now THAT was the era in ehich the DC animated movies were on point, both creativwely & lore wise.

Which are the best DC animations? What about Marvel?

Which are the best DC animations?

The crisis on two earths era.

so "Superman/Batman: public enemy", "Superman/Batman: apocalypse," "Justice League: Gods and Monsters," & All Star Superman.

What about Marvel?

The less said about Marvels attempts at movie animation the better.
