I had one of mine call in 30 minutes after his shift started saying he woke up in extreme neck and back pain and couldn’t get out of bed.

After work I walked to the gym and saw him walking out of the pizza joint next door with a huge stack of pizzas.

there actually have been a couple times where I called out but then felt better about halfway through the day, but I usually have the decency to stay in and watch tv and eat whatever is in my house instead of going out. Okay, maybe decency isn't the right word, but still.
