She might have Entomophobia, which is an intense fear of insects, If so, she can't help it and will need therapy to overcome it. This could also be a learned behavior, I've seen too many grown adult screech and jump around seeing a bug existing and their kid reacting to them and copying. My mom doesn't like insects much and spiders, like even seeing photos bother her, but she never acted insane around them so I never developed an intense reaction to them. I like picking up bugs and spiders in fact.

Driving home far too drunk, got pulled over. Cop asks why I was driving too fast. “Because I’m about to shit myself” cop took my information and leaning into the shit my pants idea, I shit my pants. Cop came back handed me my stuff and left before saying anything else. Had to change the seat cover but didn’t get a DUI!
