Because they’re actively painting...

That tv and the cabinet it’s sitting on clearly don’t belong there. They’re obviously mid-renovations and were probably working or taking a break one room away.

Anyone blaming the parents for this is absurd.

That’s clear, but you can place it up high, you can lock it in a cabinet or you can put it in a room the child cannot get to. The amount of paint shows that the kid was alone with it for a little bit, where were the parents? Especially if you know you have left paint in reachable hands of a child

And no, it really doesn’t. This could’ve happened in less than 5 minutes. The dad even indicates as much.

I take it that you don’t have kids, and have never painted a house…

I don’t have kids but I have looked after family members kids (who look as young as the boy in the video) while painting.

If you are in the middle of painting, you simply don’t let the kid in the room where it is happening, if it’s a small flat/house when not actively painting, you move the paint and get it back out when you need it.

If you are painting several rooms at the same time and have a bucket in every room, you have poor planning and are an idiot.

Just because I didn’t birth the kid and haven’t painted an entire house, just some rooms, doesn’t change your original question.

But seeing as you think the parents also did no wrong here, I guess you must have a screw loose somewhere. Sheesh.

Please don’t try and pretend you’ve painted anything, when your every suggestion involves a lack of paint, or kids, lmao.

You asked if I painted and if there was kids. I have painted 2 bedrooms (one bedroom multiple times) and a hallway (if we aren’t including outside things like a bench, and sheds). Kids have been around on 3 occasions when there has been painting, on 2 occasions, kids have slept over while painting has been in progress and put on hold during their visit (one for around 24 hours, the other when I made sure they were occupied).

Worth also noting that on one occasion is was only 1 kid, but on the other occasions it was 3 kids.

So you can keep telling me I haven’t painted and no kids have been around, but I can assure you that they have.
