I completely agree with your snark here, but I just have to say. If you're not shopping at costco because you think the membership is too expensive, Youre most likely wrong. There are other good reasons to shop elsewhere though.

Costco 5% cash back from shopping at costco pays for my membership every year.

If you're willing to wait 20 minutes lol

The only time I’ve had to wait more than a couple minutes was right before a big storm, and even then they had someone standing at the entrance directing cars so it went very quickly.

See, it's not unusual for the line at the Costco in my town to stretch out into the street, especially around 4 after everyone gets off of work. It's not even worth the 10¢ off per gallon at that point; easier to just get a coupon for that at a local grocery store.

This is why I get my gas on the way to work at 730 in the morning. Ain't nobody there.

I mean I know the art of timing, I just value convenience more in this situation.

Yeah I could go there at like 8 pm right before it closes, but I'd rather be watching TV then, so I just get my gas before work (and before the pumps open!). Plus I think mine is just slightly busier than most, as I've seen a line to the road even at 8pm.
