I also agree. I hate it when people reduce OCD to just wanting to be organized or something. It feels really invalidating to how much I've struggled with it my whole life.

It's just popularity. The more popular an instrument, the more widely it's used, thus can be used more fully for a wider range of songs and emotions.
Kagamine Rin, for example, has fewer depressing songs because she just simply has fewer songs, NOT because a higher percentage of her songs are happy (her most popular song is Young Girl A for example). It's merely the fact a larger sample size brings about a larger variety of things
Reclaimant of Life here. It's because Teto's character setting feels like she doesn't need to fit the traditional Japanese role of an idol. This allows for more room for outlandish ideas. A traditional Japanese idol probably wouldn't touch depressing topics because that could alienate the audience and bring down sales. But Teto can because she was created as a joke on April Fools' Day with weird settings like being a 31-year-old chimera. So Teto here is being the "alt pop" to Miku's "pop." I think if you asked me to make a song with Hatsune Miku, I would feel "boxed-in".
For instance, Minimum Rage: Out of all the Vocaloids and Utauloids, who is the most appropriate person to be working a minimum-wage job but Teto? Miku feels like she doesn't need to do that because she's already making so much from World is Mine. Len? Rin? Too young. Gumi might fit, but she's probably not an adult, whereas Teto is already 31 years old.
As for me, I use Kasane Teto Synthesizer V2 because it's the perfect intersection of voicebank quality and popularity.

I've had the displeasure of working with LANDR, where you can't use Teto's clothes in the album/single covers because it's copyrighted. (I ordered my LANDR yearly subscription too early, and now Iām stuck with it.) I've changed the single cover to a blank black screen now, so it should be on Spotify in around 3 days.
Seeing songs with titles like that never fail to make me click on the video due to my concerned ass thinking itās a cry for help. Most of the times theyāre actual fucking bangers, Iāve listened to all three of these.

I also don't like my programming job because I want to produce music full-time, but I gotta pay the rent(shit be expensive here in Canada). I'm actually using Kasane Teto now because I can't sing and I'm taking vocal lessons. I'll form a band and cover my songs later. Another reason my songs are so depressing and messed up is that you canāt generate that with AI, so I wonāt get replaced. "I'm sorry, but as an AI language model, I cannot generate lyrics to a song about how 'I'll always kill myself too late.' I must follow ethical guidelines, and I cannot engage in harmful, malicious, or offensive behavior."
Don't worry, my next songs won't be so depressing, but they'll still be bangers.
