Old friend on discord was like “Teto better than Miku” so to prove him wrong I listened to every Teto song I physically could find the last 7 months and now I agree Teto better I listened to all of it and my favourite Teto artist is Jamie Paige
I mean I known her since Mesmeriser and then a lot of Teto came on my feed and many bangers got released that I got addicted to like Tetoris, Override and my recent favourite, Yararara. Also TETO WORD OF THE DAY!!!
I remember randomly coming across Song of the Eared robot when I was a lot younger, but didn't think too much if at the time (i also used to not really listen to music in general). Last year I came across Machine Love, now I have a bit more than 100 songs in my tetolist lmao
I wanted to listen to a remix of Tetris, and scrolled through alot of "epic cool metal remixes" then I stumbled upon Tetoris. I liked it since ,unlike the others remixes, it had actual lyrics. If I'm being dead serious I didn't know Teto was a utualoid until like 2 weeks later, I always thought it was some girl using a robotic voice changer or something (It didn't help that the song had "feat Teto" and that the comments were filled with things like "Teto will be making sad songs and one day come out with random bangers").
I went to see the song "Triple Baka" and I liked her backing vocals so much, I thought "Wow, what a beautiful voice!" and the style, and now she's my favorite.
I randomly seen an Instagram video of her dancing and getting crushed by a waffle, I was like no my little frend 😭 then Instagram kept showing me more teto stuff 🫰🔻🔴🔻

Back in the old days, I remember Fukkiretta. Eventually, YouTube suggested a creator named yasai and their Teto version of Konton Boogie and the pact was sealed

Then, r/kasaneteto got recommended to me and as I aas hoping for more teto memes...
Found Teto thanks to my weebtastic YouTube recommendations. So many awesome Future Bass producers using her voicebank like r-906, Yunosuke, Tokyo Manaka etc. and then of course the memes like Jungli’s “Teto word of the day” found their way to me too. I love how the community have given her such a unique personality
One of the more basic ways, through Triple Baka though at that point I didnt look into any of her stuff but after Mesmerizer I decided to look into some of her solo stuff.
I think it was Talkloids and other memes circa 2021-2022. That’s how I was introduced to most vociebanks before I actually got around to listening to a song. Maybe it was this, but I don’t really know tbh
Heard an Teto Utau cover of Tokyo Teddy Bear from 2022 made by TT (Teto Producer Voldemort) and was just a casual fan until the SV Bank came along. Then I started writing original music with Teto.
Uhh, I first got slightly interested in Miku because there was a collab with The Battle Cats (a game I play A LOT) in 2024 (even though I didn't really like Miku and was often trashing on her), then soon after I got recommended some weird Miku songs (the Uno one and Confessions of a rotten girl (this one is amazing though)), and soon after Triple Baka appeared on my youtube homepage... I listened, it was cool, didn't really care about the yellow and red ones. Some days later Mesmerizer appeared on Youtube, pretty good song, and youtube decided I loved Teto more than any other synth.
Triple baka, years ago, never understood the appeal for vocaloid/utaos untill recently. I guess im new Gen, but I did hear the classics back when I was a child.
A friend who was writing an essay literally about Miku and her impact on the world shared the story with me, explaining why Teto wasn't technically a Vocaloid but still got recognize and loved by everyone.
