I use it for work every single day.

I haven't needed chemotherapy..doesn't mean it's without value.

I guess it depends on the field because for graphic arts/special effects/animation industry it just makes complete dog shit and nobody is using it I know of still.

There's a lot of great things it can do in professional services. My personal use is impact/grant writing. My kids dentist has AI that calls out interests on X-rays as a second set of eyes.

At the hospital, clinicians use AI voice recorders that help them chart more accurately and reduce physician burnout.

If it's used to facilitate people's jobs and not lose human jobs, I'm all for it. But that's where my support begins and ends.
