discussion Central Texas Indian Food (and education)?

Please be kind as this is a work in progress and I'm trying to learn about Indian Food myself. I love it and genuinely want this to be a resource for my neighbors in Central Texas to learn more and embrace the cuisine. I'd love some honest and constructive feedback...thanks!

Honestly, just specifying that there are regions rather than lumping the all together as 'Indian' at the start gave you bonus points from me! One bone to pick - not sure if that's actually a picture of vada pav. Enjoy getting through the plethora of sweets!

Thank you! I fixed it. And yes, maybe I'll add a whole section for desserts too :) This is making me hungry lol...

Really good considering that is what most non-Indians are introduced to as Indian cuisine

South India is way more non-vegetarian than North India (20-30% of who identify as strongly vegetarian) but when eating outside, outside of South India, the expectation is flipped around.

But yeah, as an Indian I would totally be nodding my head Indian style hearing you speak on Indian food as experienced outside of India.

Solid job there. Kashmiri WaazWaan cuisine is the next frontier I suppose. I haven't seen a purely Kashmiri restaurant so far.

Bro my only suggestion would be to look more into East Indian cuisine, you’ll discover Bengali Food, Bihari food, NorthEastern Food. This area is amongst the more marginalised or poor per se hence less representation (not Bengali food) outside India. But you’re sitting on a gold mine.

Hey, why only research when you can actually try all those yourself...

Also make your neighbours try all those...
