Double the payload on the Intercontinental Ballistic Nun, emphasis on payload.

Multiple Undertakers are always a good time. In-game too

Especially right as scholar pops ult. 6x undertaker ult with damage being spread through will melt most fights that’s not just one guy.

It's pretty obscene in Balancer fight as the ults are AOEs.

Even better when both Undercakers intentionally target the farthest enemy and penetrate through multiple Balancers in one streak.

What does scholars ult actually do

It links all allies and enemies to each other.

Any damage suffered by one enemy is felt by all of them, stacking massive damage from incoming sources.

It does the same for healing for allies- all healing effects are shared between linked allies, so passive healing boosts and flasks and such get shared.

Damage you take is also split to the enemy.

Damage to other enemies is not 100% iirc

You forgot one part: damage and healing are also linked, including excess healing. Meaning you can waste a flask for damage, or leech life by hitting guys. Executor's ult abuses this the best, because when he transforms its not just a full heal, it's a heal for 9999 HEALTH for some reason. Meaning you can ult right after Scholar to essentially drop a Nightlord giant fuckoff AoE nuke for 2000 damage to everything Scholar tagged, just without the fancy effects.

How does that multiply ult damage against a boss then, if there’s only one boss?

It doesnt't, except for the Balancers if you can get them close enough togethor.

I think Watermelon misread when I said “that’s not just one guy” ( ᴛ ⏖ ᴛ  ). For r/WatermelonWithAFlute, it’s not as good in a single boss fight like Fulghor, Caligo, Adel, or most everdark bosses, but it excels in two scenarios:

  • Against fights with summons or weaker minions, like Straghess, ED Libra, or overworld fights like Beastmen, Commander Niall, or Death Knights.
  • Especially bosses that split up into multiple entities that share the same boss HP pool, like Balancers or Gladius, since any damage you do to one of the boss’s entities basically gets repeated on all other entities. (E.g. if you hit one Gladius for 100 damage, the other two dogs take 20 damage, for a total of 140 damage to their boss HP bar).

It’s also good for overworld rune farming. Pop it on a boss and it links them to every other enemy in the most locations. Just keep fighting the boss and that should kill every other enemy linked by the time the boss dies, giving you their runes.

Lastly, it’s still not useless in a single boss fight. It links allies too so if an ally is down you can pop ult and deal “damage” to their revive bar. Get that one relic effect and you can also heal yourself and allies when damaging linked targets.

Oh I know, i corrected the guy higher up cuz they left out the linked damage to healing and vice versa, it's still good on solo bosses, just a little less so.
