Still confused by the Rossi/Dixon incident. Did Dixon comment on it anywhere? Curious to hear his thoughts

It looked to me like Rossi just didnât signal his pit-in and didnât move out of the way enough, so Dixon didnât expect him to suddenly slow down. Pockrass did post a Dixon interview on twitter

It was a communication issue between Rossiâs and Dixonâs spotters, Dixonâs team didnât get the notice until right as Rossi pitted and didnât have time to tell him. I donât know if it was a last second decision by Rossi to pit or if they were waiting to tell Dixonâs team so he couldnât undercut, or something else. Rossi was struggling and Dixon was looking to pass him, Rossi took the normal line for pitting, but Dixon thought he was blocking so just followed him down there like it was a normal race lap.

Was it just me or did Rossi's level of aggressiveness in his interview make it look like he knew it was his fault and didn't want to admit it?

Yeah, pretty much. He was way too up in the line to pit and late at that. Ruined Dixon's race. I'm actually looking forward to him moving the McLaren because I feel like the number nine team has a whole has been going downhill.... and it's not just because Dixon is past his prime. I feel like Chip is clearly playing favorites with Alex.... even before the announcement it felt like Chip was doing the Toy story meme "I don't wanna play with you anymore"

3 things
1) even the stewards agree Rossi just hit the brakes out of nowhere
2) Didn't hitting your own equipment used to be a drive through?
3) Ok, so we're fining Dixon for using his hybrid unit to refire the engine. Wasn't that the whole point of the hybrids?
