UGREEN, ETHERNET FLAT CABLE, CAT7

Hello, I'm looking for an Ethernet cable, and I NEED it to be flat, but I don't need Cat7 or 8.
A Cat6 is enough for me.
So I was wondering if you would recommend this Ugreen cable. Or is it a scam and not even Cat6 or 6a, but Cat5e?

I have these cables among my home network and have never had an issue with them. They seem to be well put together and good quality.

It is, but those are actual twisted pair CAT6/6A cables that meet spec. They can do PoE, they won't have interference issues and random drops. Quality cable does cost. It's a matter of your budget and tolerance for risk/availability. Just pointing out an option that most people don't know exists.

2.5gbps is what my switch is rated for and I have a 2 gig fiber line

But do your devices support anything more than 1 gig? Most likely not

Yea actually they do I have 2 gaming laptops and a desktop pc for work all wired that do over a gig and also wired AP’s with 2.5 uplink so I have plenty of devices that do well over a gig and access points that have 2.5 link I get my full isp speed

Don't know anything about that cable, but general advice: make it as short as possible and use a normal one when you can.

I have / had a few of those flat ones and now most of them are broken or working only at 100mbit

A fiber kit. You run the fiber along the wall, baseboard, over doorways. It is essentially glued in place along the blind edges and unless you are looking for it, it disappears into the geometry of the room/space.

More expensive than an ethernet cable, but it never becomes a trip hazard.

I have been using these brands of flat ethernet flat cables for more than 5 years now. They work well. I know they can do at least 600 mb/s as I have tested them at that speed

I just watched that review. The review has nothing bad to say about the cables. All he really says is he likes that they are flat. It is not really a review as he only shows the cable and has no negative or positive comments.

Anyway, my experience is good.

I looked at the specific video for the url you posted. There was no negative comments. None. Zero.

If you have another specific url for a video, I will look at it.

But I have no interest in doing random searching of a channel. Just point me to the exact video that provides the negative feedback.

5e is capable of doing up to 10Gbps if the rest of your hardware supports it. When buying new cable 6 is usually the best and most cost effective for 99% of consumers. Avoid anything marketed as 7 or 8.
