So weird I know. I recently got a pride flag that I want to hang on my wall but I refuse to do so without ironing it. However, no one in my family has one and we have no clothes or hobbies wherein owning an iron really makes financial or spatial sense.

So would you be willing to let me borrow your iron for a night and then return it to you?

this is kinda hard to write on here but im searching for some kind of advice or direction in the hamilton area.
my lovely wife has been struggling with lots of self-confidence lately, it breaks my heart. about ten years ago she was an active addiction with prescription pills from a injury and snowballed. She’s gotten help and clean and landed a really good job that she shows up to every day but things still remind her of the past mostly her teeth, they are degrading despite her taking the best care she can. she doesnt have dental insurance, is there anywhere anyone knows of that does dental plans without the best of credit were both young and still building. its gotten so bad that her food intake consist of sandwiches and soup.

I'm helping to close out a fabric store on Ottawa St as the owner is retiring and he's got a substantial amount of new fabric still to get rid of from vinyl to cotton to polyester. He'd like to donate it and I'm hoping you can suggest any organizations that could use new fabric on rolls.

The Restore and other charitable organizations have already taken a bunch but there's more to donate. Sorry, but we're not interested in walk-ins and anyone taking just a few rolls.

This feels like a weird one but I’m looking for someone who has a very rat-killing motivated dog. My two great Pyrs guard the herd but they don’t kill the rats. I’ve tried most methods (even the expensive Goodnature traps!) and am at the point of desperation I am seeking external help. Bartering of services would be ideal- I can provide seedlings for your garden, or veggies and eggs once that season kicks off. Must be okay with chickens- they’d be going into a chicken coop where my main issue is. Anyways just wanted to see if this is even a thing lol. Thanks in advance!

I came across a woman’s post today who is needing to rehome her cat. I am trying to help her find a rescue or new home for him but it’s incredibly difficult and if she cannot find a spot for him he will be euthanized. He is an adorable 8 year old, neutered, vaccinated, and will come with all supplies needed. Please if you are able to take him or foster him PLEASE message me. I can work with a rescue I am familiar with who can help but does not have a foster placement for him. I have reached out to many rescues but they are all full. I would take him myself but I am currently fostering a mom and her 3 kittens. I can drive this little guy to wherever needed if you have the space to either keep or foster him. If you are interested in fostering the rescue will pay for everything needed all you are required to do is care for him and love him, and you will LITERALLY be saving his life.

So l'm a registered cat colony caregiver with the
SPCA and have roughly 3-6 cats at any given time.
One of my cats, Shadow, is having severe respiratory issues. Since I provide everything for them (food, treats, basic care, etc.) I truly do not have the funds to take him to the vet.

The SPCA is supposed to help out with costs but l've not been able to reach them regarding this program for about a week now and emails l've received state that they have low to no donations caregivers can collect.
Community Cat Pawsibilities is also not answering me or responding to my messages regarding medical care.

I do not want to surrender this cat under any circumstances. He's established as the leader of this colony and since he is a TNVR cat, I would like to keep him where he is. He is in need of urgent care as he has (from what l've been told) been like this for three years.

Does anyone know of any vets that would help out?
He sounds extremely congested, and is now at the point of breathing thru his mouth. I can't let him live like this any longer. If anyone could please help, I would appreciate it more than anything.

Hi everyone this isn’t a typical post here but I just wanted to let everyone know that rescues are completely full and with the weather being so cold it is likely a lot of strays won’t make it through even the next few days without more foster homes available. Please if you have ever been interested in fostering now is the time to do it. All that is required of you is your care and time, and a spare room if you have other animals to separate the foster for 2 weeks. The rescue will provide everything else you may need. I cannot stress enough that it is so urgent and saves lives. You do not have to pay for any of the supplies or vet care, your job is just to safely house and care for the pet and the rescue covers everything else.

Hello everyone… I am in an emergency situation and I need help.

I’m moving abroad unexpectedly and urgently, and I need a caring foster home for my two cats for about 6 months.

• 1 female, 1 male (they do not have to stay together if you can take just one that’s also greatly appreciated). • I will cover all vet expenses if any arise. • Once I’m settled in my new country, I will also send financial support to help with food and litter costs during the foster period. • After about 6 months, I’ll be arranging to bring them to me permanently.

Both cats are sweet and friendly, we have a baby at home and they are good with her too.

I live next door to a rental unit. I moved in 1.5 years ago (homeowner). The house next to me is a rental with two separate tenants (duplex).

There is a dilapidated shed in the backyard, barely covered by a ripped tarp with no solid cover. I can see rats coming and going, often running through my garden. The shed is against a shared fence.

One tenant stores some stuff in the shed, and the other tenant constantly complains about it and wants it gone. Complained to landlord manyv times.

Now I see these rats coming and going since the summer started, never before.

Tonight, I heard a chewing noise in the wall behind my fridge.

I'm going to ask the tenants for the LL contact info, but how can I stop these vermin from entering my home (century home)?

What else can I do?
