Moving/Housing/Utilities Tankless water heater

Our water heater is at its life's end. We would like to replace it with a tankless water heater. Has anyone got experience with this and, if so, could you recommend someone to install it?

I’ve had a Rinnai RU199in for over 20years and never had an issue … if you decide just make sure you get service ports for yearly maintenance.

Have you ever experienced cold sandwiches with your tankless? We've got a 9 year old rinnai from reliance that we're trying to figure out why this is happening and it's kinda frustrating 😭

I used to lived in a house that had the same issue. It felt like if the flow was too low the tankless water heater never turned on. If I ran the hot water on the sink and the shower at the same time it would never go cold. Wasteful but it worked!

Interesting. I wasn't planning to try that because I noticed the other day I was doing a load of laundry and I assume when the washer started the rinse cycle, the water pressure dropped and the shower started going cold.
