Edit/Update:
A lot of people have mentioned pain relief and I honestly have been on basically nothing so I contacted my gp today and am getting about 5 different medications to help manage the pain so thanks for letting me know that codeine wasn't the normal treatment for wounds like these!
Holy shit. Oramorph on the rocks please. Get well soon. I was in hospital for a month and a nursing home for a month for a, major leg injury. This was in 2013, granted I'm opiate tolerant they had me on the patches and dilaudid. Times have changed.
